For this conference welcome event, guests came together for an early dinner in a beautiful backyard garden in Northern Virginia. After days of anxiously watching the forecast — and a storm earlier that morning — the clouds cleared just in time, leaving behind sunshine, fresh air, and a picture-perfect setting.
Many guests had traveled in that day and were ready to relax and make new connections. While we had a full wine/beer bar, the favorite was the signature mocktail — Mint Limonana. It was the perfect refreshing treat after a day or many days of travel for many guests.
We served a globally inspired buffet dinner, followed by coffee and tea service as the evening wound down. With delicious food, beautiful weather, and a peaceful garden atmosphere, the event was the perfect beginning to a successful and impactful conference.
