Dear Reader,
One of our Founding Fathers was an immigrant. Do you know which one? It’s Alexander Hamilton! Born on Nevis in the Caribbean, Hamilton immigrated to New York City at the age of sixteen to pursue an education. He managed to stay and help our young nation grow into what it is today.
From his ability to overcome adversity to his unfailing work ethic, Hamilton’s story is one that continues to resonate among immigrants. In his famous Broadway musical “Hamilton”, Lin-Manuel Miranda includes this idea in the famous line, “Immigrants, we get the job done.”
This month, we highlight Alexander Hamilton’s life and his many contributions to our nation. Without him, the United States would not be what it is today. Check out this month’s issue to learn more. You won’t want to miss it.
Hope you gain new insights,
